The Dow Jones News Fund arranges summer internships for college students in newsrooms across the country in audience engagement, data journalism, digital media, business reporting and multiplatform editing.

Our interns are ready to work on Day One and are highly motivated, energetic, technologically-skilled and eager to use their talents to expand their horizons.

We take real care in making placements. On average, nearly a third of our graduating students are offered full-time jobs when their internships ended.

Media commit to pay interns at least $525 per week for 10 to 12 weeks and to provide $1,200 to the News Fund to help underwrite the cost of training. That money is passed on to the university and its staff; the Fund doesn’t retain any of it.  Discounted fees are available for qualified nonprofit organizations.

Media companies are strongly encouraged to sign up before Dec. 1.
